Station one. • Take two spinach leaves, mark one A and one B. • Put leaf A in container A and put leaf B in container B. Soak them for 10 sec. move them in the solution to make sure that they are soaked properly. • Take both leaves out of the solution and lay them down on a dry paper towel for 10 sec. • Hold both leaves up and answer the questions.
Station one • Which of the leaves wilted and which one kept standing up high? • Draw a diagram to show the vacuoles for both leaf cells after they were soaked in the solutions. • Explain what happened to both plants turgor pressures.
