The moon has been hit closer to the Earth by an asteroid, and it’s causing a lot of problems. Electricity is rare, and internet non-existent. But those are the least of their problems. The moon’s gravity is creating super-tides, pulling magma right out of volcanos, causing an unimaginable amount of earthquakes, and basically making life h-e-double hockey sticks. For my E I researched tsunamis because very powerful ones are happening every day in the book. Here’s what I found: • A Tsunami is a series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large body of water, generally an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions landslides, glaciers breaking, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami.
