Definition of Sentence Sentence:A sentence is a combinationof words arranged in such an order that it is expresses a complete sense or meaning.
Classification of sentence There are five kinds of sentence. Assertive Interrogative Imperative Optative Exclamatory
Assertive sentence The great leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was calling the countrymen to free our country. The girl is reading a book. Assertive: A sentence that makes a statement is called an assertive sentence
Interrogative sentence What is your name? What are you reading? Interrogative: A sentence that asks a question is called an Interrogative sentence.
