  3. Ran a small design gallery inside the school, for seven years 1992, offered a job at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, in New York Published many books & built a reputation as a writer and critic

  4. Exhibitions Have Included: 1993 Mechanical Brides 1996 Mixing Messages 1999 Graphic Design in the Mechanical Age 2000, 2003, & 2006 National Design Triennial 2002 Skin 2006 Solos 2006 Feeding Desire 2007 Design Life Now

  5. Since 1997, Lupton has also been the Director of the Master of Fine Art Program in Graphic Design at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)

  6. An author of numerous books and articles on design.
