  1. Scuba Diving Accessories All Divers Need

  2. Scuba diving is one of the most thrilling and awe-inspiring sports a person can enjoy. Where else can you submerge yourself beneath the surface of the ocean and explore the countless plants and sea creatures that call the ocean home? Some might say there are amusement parks and aquariums that provide an insight into what life in the ocean and lakes are like. If you want a real underwater experience, there is nothing quite like scuba diving.

  3. Prior to Diving Aside from getting your scuba diving certification from a trained scuba diving instructor, anyone wanting to explore the underwater world needs to purchase the essential scuba diving accessories. The following are the essential items to purchase prior to starting your scuba diving adventures. Wetsuit - Wetsuits help keep the body warm in cold and warm water. Regardless of the water temperature, the human body cools much faster in water than air, making a wetsuit essential. Swim Fins - Swim fins, or scuba fins, help with speed and efficient movement in the water.

  4. Mask & Snorkel - A mask and snorkel allow for clear vision when under the water. Masks help equalize sinus and ear pressure. The snorkel provides the tube necessary for inhaling and exhaling underwater without swallowing water. Regulator - The regulator is an essential piece of equipment for breathing underwater. The device connects to the tank, affording divers with the ability to inhale oxygen. Oxygen tank - Essential for breathing underwater Dive Computer - These devices alert divers to their depth, how much time they can safely stay underwater. Some computers work in conjunction with other devices

  5. Gauge - A submersible pressure gauge, or SPG, displays the amount of the air/oxygen remaining in a diver's tank. Buoyancy Compensator - A buoyancy compensator, BC, serves multiple purposes. They support the weight of the oxygen tank while above water. Through the inflation of the BC's internal bladder, or release of the air, divers are able to sink deeper in the water or rise to the water's surface faster.
