Desert Island Survival • Suitable for groups of all sizes and for students intermediate to advanced level students. • Slide 1. Put sts into groups and explain that their plane has crashed and they are the only survivors. • Slide 2. Sts use + and - adjectives to describe the desert island and their emotions • Slide 3. Allow sts 5-10 mins to write a list using the second conditional, based on the target Q’s. Show slide 4 before they start, to provide some inspiration. • Allow sts 5-10 mins to discuss their answers in groups or with a partner and vote on the best choices. • Ask the sts to briefly share their ideas with the rest of the class.
