This study evaluates the performance of trigger detectors, including paddle counters, Cerenkov counters, and zero degree calorimeters, during the RHIC 2000 run. The functionality and geometry of these detectors are examined, along with their effectiveness in triggering and event selection. Preliminary results for the ZDC performance and paddle counters are also discussed.

Final Notes • The paddle counters and zero degree calorimeters performed as expected in 2000 run • Cerenkov counters ready to be commission in 2001 • No mayor modification expected for the trigger system for 2001 preliminary
