AF Weather • DoD moving toward net-centric ops for several years now • Focus on providing accurate, reliable, mission-tailored weather for decision-makers to bombs on target • DoD weather NextGen participation ahead of other offices • While DoD weather is not identifying NextGen programs, we are providing sweat equity with key people involved in the JPDO Weather Working Group • Sharing our Joint METOC Brokering Language (JMBL) - working with NWS to make it an effective standard • Will share our integration experiences and lessons learned • Will share any pertinent R&D from military labs and hope to leverage NextGen R&D efforts to benefit DoD ops
