Outcome • Presentation of the procedure for benchmarking • General support to the approach • Application benchmarking (not model benchmarking) • AQD Reporting oriented (not all model types included) • First step towards model auditing • Issues • Discussion about the possibility to run joint exercises on one particular area (seen useful but concern on funding) • Collaboration to elaborate the benchmark template • To whom will model reports be available? • Meetings to discuss the testing of the prototype

Outcome • Work-plan • Prototype development by end 2010 • Test of the prototype on urban & regional scales for O3 and PM first, NO2 too complex • Simulations on existing datasets welcome for preparing benchmark template • Joint exercise (2012) • Connections to other groups • SG1: info on station representativness • NO2: review of model used for ADQ before proceeding with benchmarking • Collaboration with other SGs to elaborate templates
