LANGUAGES AND EUROPEAN KNOWLEDGE • working in English, including at the United Nations and in the UK • mother tongue is French • familiar with the European • Situation on Gender equality • have been disseminating materials and reports within my association for several years • used to travelling in Europe
Work experience in Europe • Research contract for the Council of Europe in 1989, after a post- Master’s degree in Human Rights • Worked with that institution again in recent years (2007-2011). • Worked for the European Commission as a lawyer • Project Manager in a British University • Lived and worked in various countries of Europe: Austria, UK, Portugal and shortly Germany and Switzerland • Project Manager for European training projects with a focus on innovation in vocational training
EXPERIENCE FOR UWE • My experience in working in a European team is wide and I have always enjoyed it, especially sharing views for constructive action, disseminating reports to get a clear knowledge for an evidence-based policy. • I have been a member of my national association since 1996. • interested in lobbying for equal opportunities in all aspects of society for women and men. • Attended the UWE AGM in Vienna and the recent Meet and Greet in Amsterdam
If elected, my preference would be to be VP for the work with the Council of Europe. However, depending on other choices, I would also like to work with the European Women’s Lobby.
