Objetivo: To be able to say how long something has been going on When something has been going on for a period of time and is still going on: I have been playing the guitar for two months We have been studying geography for three weeks They have been playing basketball for four years You guys have been learning Spanish for eight months Otros ejemplos?   2. verb in the present tense + object + desde hace + time So: I have been playing the guitar for two months We have been studying Latin for three weeks They have been playing basketball for four years Toco la guitarra desde hace dos meses Estudiamos el latín desde hace tres semanas Juegan al baloncesto desde hace cuatro años

  3. To ask how long someone has been doing something you would say: ¿Desde hace cuánto tiempo? How long have you been learning Spanish? ¿Desde hace cuánto tiempo estudias el español? How long have you known your best friend? ¿Desde hace cuánto tiempo conoces a tu mejor amigo?

  4. Te toca a ti: Traduce las frases siguientes y responde a ellas utilizando la construcción desde hace How long have you been going out with your girlfriend? How long have you been playing tennis for? How long have you been a vegetarian?
