BIOGRAPHY SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY VANCE S. PAWIELSKI Vance Pawielski is the secretary for the Detachment 205, Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (Department of Aerospace Studies) at Southeast - a cross-town agreement with Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. In this capacity, he oversees the budget, creates class schedules, assists the NCOs with cadet operations, and administrative management of the department. Works directly with the Registrars Office and Student Financial Services. Executes admissions processing and enrollment management for the department. Currently, Mr. Pawielski is the point-of-contact for Air Force ROTC inquiries at Southeast. Lead recruiter for the southeast Missouri region. Coordinates with the Admissions Office with all on campus recruiting events. Mr. Pawielski, has been working with Air Force ROTC for over 18 years. He attended Brevard Community College in Florida and finished his degree at Southeast. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1992. He enlisted during the Viet Nam era and served in the gulf war OPERATION DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM.
