The Products 1 – Solution for trans-epithelial cross-linking (CXL-TE) 2 – Therapeutical eye drops for cross-linking induced by solar light 3 – OTC eye drops for lubricating, trophism of conjunctival corneal surface and shielding inner structures of eyeballs against U.V. rays The three products contain riboflavin (vit. B2) and other substances and are disclosed in the international patent application WO2011012557

OBJECTIVE OF THE TREATMENT: strenghtening the corneal stroma by forming covalent bonds between collagen fibrillae Disepithelization technique Corneal disepithelization Soaking the stroma with a riboflavin based solution for 30 minutes (applied on the cornea without epithelium) Irradiation with U.V. 370 nm for 30 minutes Transepithelial technique No preliminary removal of the corneal epithelium Soaking the stroma for two hours with Ricrolin TE Soaking the stroma for 20 minutes with Novel Solution Irradiation with U.V. 370 nm for 30 minutes
