Research (cont.) • The killing machine that vends • More vending machine related fatalities than shark attack fatalities • least 37 deaths and 113 injuries have been recorded since 1978 (Consumer Product Safety Commission) • Vending machines are heavy
Design goals • A safer machine to use • Better drink delivery system • Adjustable height for ease of use • Easier payment method • Mobility (later dropped) • More enjoyable/entertaining experience
