Rome became rich Rome’s business increased and cities became busy. Shopkeepers were wealthy because of the money they were making off their product. Donari The same coins were used throughout the empire which made exchange of items easier. No Tariffs There were no tariffs, or taxes placed on goods coming into the empire. Pox Romana The Pox Romana was a 200 period of peace in which Rome’s culture and people prospered. Their civilization spread and culture blended with others.
