  10. CMS Integration Peter Bridger, from Avon and Somerset Police – “Within two working days I had finished development of seven plug-ins that link into the various systems and live information available from our website. I'm proud to have extended our services onto digital TV in a way that it will automatically keep them up to date without any further time or effort. Development was very straight forwards and rewarding, I found it a nice break fromworking on more elaborate systems.”

  11. So what exactly is a Plugin? Forget ‘TV & Mobile’ for a moment …. • It’s an easy way for two computers to transact • A plugin is a simple web application that ‘speaks’ XML rather than HTML • You can forget about normal concerns of a web application like • Colours • Themes • Layouts ….. the DigiTV Starter Kit handles all of these for each Channel. • You just have to decide on content, simple links and menu buttons • A plugin can be developed and hosted by the Plugin Partner or DigiTV
