  4. SUI GENERIS QUALITIES • “Sui generis” means “unique”. • What is unique about your school that you want to see reflected in your Law?

  5. COMMUNITY EDUCATION AUTHORITY • How many First Nations intend to establish their own CEA? • How many intend to establish one jointly with other First Nations?

  6. ROLE OF CHIEF & COUNCIL • What kind of decision-making authority should Chief and Council have over the education system?

  7. ACCOUNTABILITY TO MEMBERS • What existing processes are in place for providing accountability to your Members? • Any suggestions on other methods for providing accountability?

  8. INPUT FROM NON-MEMBERS • What existing processes are in place for seeking input from Non-Members attending your schools? • Any suggestions on other methods for providing input?

  9. APPEAL PROCESS • Provide suggestions for processes to appeal decisions of the CEA and its employees.
