Climate and Rainfall • Australia is a continent with the least rainfall, apart from Antarctica. • We can be compared to countries such as Iraq, Israel, Turkey & Mexico when it comes to water scarcity. • From disappearing lakes and dwindling natural resources, the protection of Australia’s water supply deserves to be on par with the concern shown for the developing world.
