  3. EXTERNAL OPPORTUNITIES THREATES Waves of citizen journalism vs. professional journalism. Increasingly competition (more established online media outlets) • Increasingly participatory communication • Widely use of multimedia to reach out the public.

OPTIMISTIC SCENARIOS: 2018 - Increasingly a two-way communication The accessibility of information coupled with the accessibility of internet will increase the level of interactivity between media outlets and the audiences. Accessibility of information Journalistic content will have multiple platforms for its audiences to receive information.

PESSIMISTIC SCENERIO: 2018 - • Increasingly governmental interferences • Ethical Dilemmas • Diminish of the reputation of the professional journalists due to the waves of citizen journalism coupled with the online media . • Partial research in collecting the news information. • The audience attitude towards media will be different as the they used to trust the media (reality –media reality)
