  4. Plan • To design SDC1&2 frame • SDC2 repair and PreAmp position arrangement SDC1 thickness : 88 mm → ~70 mm SP0 diet : 10 layers→ 7 layers (~20 mm 痩)

Helium target status • Optimize • Target length : 335 mm (very tight length) • Target shape : Cylinder → Elliptic cylinder, material selection • Arm design : HBJ frame • Test • Cooling test by refrigerator • Existent vacuum chamber with the same arm length Hyperball-J (Frame outer size) Designed by Ishimoto-san 335 mm

  7. Points • Target shape : Not cylinder is preferred. • Material : Al or CFRP • As small background as possible • Thickness : Enough thickness to pressure or thin surface with additional parts • Arm design : No interference to HBJ frame

  8. How to install Refrigerator etc. Target is installed from the upstream of Hyperball-J. SDC1 Beam BAC SAC

  9. Around target : Ge detectors and frame Interference to arm ~218 mm 220 mm diameter cylinder can be installed. Hyperball-J

  10. W/ Beam line elements (FF+600mm) Enough space to install Helium target and other components

  12. Repair plan • Readout connector check and repair • Wire check : To remove bad wire • HV connector repair ⇒HV test (+ LNS test with SP0) • Wiring • Rearrangement of connectors ⇒Cosmic ray test and LNS test with SP0

  15. Geant4 for new farm • Geant4 environments are build in new farm. (farm1,2,3,4,5,6) • Geant4.9.1 patch01 • CLHEP 2.0.3.1 (2.0.3.2 My PC) • ROOT 5.18 (5.19 My PC) • Calculation speed (K→m n events with EM and decay process, full material) • Old farm : ~600 s • New farm : ~400 s • My PC : ~300 s (It depends on CPU clock ?) K→p p0 events : 10000 events/~600 s (SP0 with full condition)

  16. Comments • New farm has good HDD (or memory) speed. Compile and read of the SKS magnetic felid map is very fast. • Runge-Kutta method speed difference (SKS tracking) • My PC : ~740 s • New farm : ~300 s SKS analysis program may be faster ? • Geant4 visualization is too slow ! (`Д´大谷) LAN speed ? PC performance ?
