National impact of globalisation(on union action and organisation) • Companies, workers' representatives • Trade unions are sometimes making concessions with employers in order to save jobs. Trade union density is on a downhill in a lot of countries. In some cases, especially in MNCs the employer discriminates against the TU representatives.
National impact of globalisation(on union action and organisation) • Professional sector • Movement of production from European countries to China and increasing imports of cheaper products from mostly China thus causing a huge loss in job positions (textile, electronics etc)

Further, Confederations and intersectoral unionism are suffering as they cannot keep up in the new environment.
