  1. The Mercy Garden This garden is a perfect example of water harvesting and providing for the needs of native wildlife

  2. The Mercy home sits below the street. So she has lined the natural run off ditch with rocks to slow down the water, prevent erosion, and water her plants as the water moves across her property.

  3. Annual flowers in pots near the house can easily be watered according to their needs

  4. Before we went to the Mercy garden, we were told she had provided water and feed for native wildlife. There were birdfeeders and water vessels scattered throughout. While our photographer was there, these thirsty neighborhood dogs came along and refreshed themselves. They were so grateful for a nice cool drink!
