  3. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT experienced delays with posting several data extracts • Last Notice Date: 12/10/07 • Market Notice: M-A112107-09 • Root Cause: Posting delay due to batch run delays related to an isolated infrastructure complication. • Resolution: Batch processing was on schedule as of 12/23/07. Changes in infrastructure were implemented on 1/5/08 to improve ongoing batch performance.

  4. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  Settlement Input Data (SID) extract is missing Operating Day November 25, 2007 • Last Notice Date: 12/3/07 • Market Notice: M-B113007 Extracts - Wholesale • Root Cause: Additional records were requested to be loaded following batch completion and the start of extract processing. • Resolution: ERCOT manually reran the SID extract for Operating Day 11/25/07.

  5. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT experienced delays with posting the SCR727 ESIID Service History and Usage Extract • Notice Date: 12/5/07 • Market Notice: R-A12052007 • Root Cause: Job placed on hold incorrectly by support personnel. • Resolution: Extract posted at 6:00 p.m. on 12/4/07.

  6. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  SID and SHP extracts missing data for Operating Day November 28, 2007 • Last Notice Date: 12/7/07 • Market Notice: M-B120607-02 • Root Cause: Batch run and data import delays. • Resolution: SID and SHP originally posted on 11/30/07. Extracts were reposted with all data on 12/6/07.

  7. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  Delay in posting of load extracts • Last Notice Date: 12/17/07 • Market Notice: M-A121307-04 • Root Cause: Approximately 600K Lodestar records were deleted as part of annual maintenance. • Resolution: The view for this single extract run was modified to only include appropriate records.

  8. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  Delays with posting several extracts and reports • Last Notice Date: 12/26/07 • Market Notice: M-B121707-06 • Root Cause: Posting delay due to batch run delays related to an isolated infrastructure complication. • Resolution: Batch processing was on schedule as of 12/23/07. Changes in infrastructure were implemented on 1/5/08 to improve ongoing batch performance.

  9. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT experienced delays with posting the Mapping Status Reject Report • Notice Date: 12/20/07 • Market Notice: R-B122007-01 • Root Cause: A subset of reports were being posted during this time. The issue was related to a configuration change made in November. • Resolution: All mapping status reject data for transactions submitted from November 29, 2007 through December 18, 2007 has been posted today, December 20, 2007 in one file.  A separate file with data on transactions submitted on December 19, 2007 was posted separately this morning at the normal time.

  10. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT experienced delays with posting the Service Orders Extract and the Load Extract reports. • Last Notice Date: 12/27/07 • Market Notice: M-A122607-02 • Root Cause: Approval process delay. • Resolution: Once approved, extracts posted as expected.

  11. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT is experiencing a delay in posting the 867_03 Activity Report • Notice Date: 1/3/08 • Market Notice: R-A010308-01 • Root Cause: Due to a blank character space in the data set, ERCOT was not able to successfully process the data required to generate the 867_03 Activity Report for January 1, 2008 through January 3, 2008. • Resolution: The issue with this data set has since been corrected and the files are being processed to generate the reports.    All data received through 03:59:59 today, January 3, 2008, has been parsed for processing in the order in which it was received.

  12. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT is experiencing a delay in posting the Full TDSP ESI ID Report • Last Notice Date: 1/14/08 • Market Notice: R-A010908-04 • Root Cause: Incremental increase in amount of data. • Resolution: Performance tuned the view.

  13. 11/26/07 – 1/25/08 Extract Issues • Issue:  SCR727 ESI ID Extract was posted with an incorrect cont file • Notice Date: 1/15/08 • Market Notice: R-A011508-01 • Root Cause: Counter was incorrectly advanced by two between the 1/11/08 and 1/12/08 posting dates due to a rerun of SCR 727 ESI ID extract. • Resolution: Noticed that 1/12/08 posting will have a count file with a counter that is incremented by two instead of by one.
