  2. History Uranus only has two symbols and this is the second one. William Herschel This is Uranus's first symbol. William Herschel discovered Uranus. Uranus was discovered March 13, 1781. Uranus was discovered by an accident. It was seen many times, but has been ignored because people thought it was a star.

Solar System • Uranus is the 7th planet. • The order of the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. • The distance from the sun in Au is 9.529 AU. • The distance from the sun in Km is 51,488 Km. • Uranus’s orbit around the sun is 84 Earth years. • One day on Uranus is 17 hours. This picture shows the order of the planets. It also shows where Uranus stands.

  4. Planet Measurements • Mass : 8.683e25 Kg • Volume : 6833 x 1010 Km • Equatorial Circumference : 160,592 Km • Mean Density : 84 Km • Gravity : 91 % of the gravity on Earth • If you weighed 100 lbs on Earth, you would weigh 90lbs on Uranus. The blue planet in the middle is Uranus.

Moons • Uranus has 27 moons. • Belinda, Caliban, Cordelia, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Maranda, Oberen, Ophelia, Mab, Portia, Puck, Rosalind, Sycrax, Titania, Umbriel, Bianca, Prospero, Setbos, Stephano, Margaret, Ferdinand, Arial and 1986u10. Here are the five major moons of Uranus Maranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberen.

  8. Ariel • Discovered by William Lassell. • Ariel was discovered in 1851. • Ariel has the youngest, as well as the brightest, surface of Uranus’s five major moons. • The 4th largest moon is ... Ariel. This is a picture of William Lassell the person who found Ariel.

  9. Rings • Uranus has 10 rings. • They are Alpha, Beta, Epsilon, Gamma, Delta, 1986U2R, 1986U1R, 6, 5 and 4. • The ring named Epsilon is gray. • Uranus‘s rings and moons form a bullseye of orbital paths around the tilted planets. Image of the rings and moons
