  2. Mission Serve as principal advisor to the Commanding General, Deputy to the Commanding General, and staff on all small business matters. Serve as advisory proponent to USASMDC in complying with Small Business Programs rules and regulations. Maintain an outreach program designed to locate capable small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and historically black colleges and universities/ minority institutions (HBCUs/MIs). Review acquisition strategies to identify prime and subcontract opportunities suitable for small business and HBCU/MI participation. Serve as command liaison to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Contract Requirements: Perform Market Research Discuss initial technical requirements Coordinate SB participation with SBA Review large business subcontracting plans Outreach: Participate in government-industry conferences, Training sessions, and trade fairs.
