Convenience • With a mounted data projector no one can sign it out before you. • Allows for more spontaneous times…adjusting to needs of learners • Lots of on-line resources.
How-to's for smoother sailing • Develop a filing system that works for you. • Place shortcuts on your desktop that link you quickly to commonly used files or folders. • Begin with Scanned worksheets or use already existing computer files to use in manner similar to overhead projector. • Play with SMART Notebook until you feel comfortable with its features.
Physical Safety • Mounted data projector means no cords to trip over. • Less wear and tear on mobile units.
Why should we not use a data projector? • Expensive – • Lack of knowledge and time • Stuck when they break down
