Giving inanimate objects human qualities and emotion is called anthropomorphism. Happy Pots Love to cook
Objective • To Take photos of inanimate objects and give “life” to these objects.
How to achieve this • Lighting- Lighting will be one of your most important parts of this project. You will need to effectively use lighting to create specific moods. Keep in mind what lighting says. If the lighting is dark, what mood does this evoke? What about bright light?
Background- The backgrounds you choose will be important for these photos. Be sure that the background enhances the overall mood of the photos. Keep the rule of simplicity in mind as well.
Filters- You will likely need to apply one or more filters to achieve the appropriate feelings and mood. Keep in mind the emotions associated with certain colors. Red may signify anger, blue sadness, etc.
Angles- Remember that placing your camera at different angles can have a huge impact on the mood of the photo.
Have at least 5 different photos- evoking at least 5 different emotions. You cannot use an object with moveable parts.Someexamples would be the following emotions: Joyful Nervous Sad Hopeful Angry Scared Disgusted Amazed Surprised Playful Anticipation Annoyed Sorrowful Grouchy Eager powerful Selfish Love Excited Friendship Shy Kind Lonely Pity Bored Envious Shocked Courageous Goofy Insecure Amused Relaxed Confident Bored Lazy Confused Glamorous Anxious
