OUR VISION • To become a self-sustained, pro-active and leading National Apex Training Institute - offering quality capacity building training, research and advisory, services in the field of Drinking Water & Sanitation . • To enable the community to have adequate self sustainable, safe drinking water supply & sanitation hygiene in an improved environment, through empowerment and capacity building.

KRC-Continued • Major Target Group • People working in Swajaldhara and Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) • in all states of India
KRC-Continued • Extending technical guidance to the State’s CCDUs and assist in the development of State/District specific training modules. • Documentation of various success stories in the WATSAN sector. • Extension of experiences through YAHOO GROUP

Highlights • 17 Capacity building events against allotted 16 events • 23 States 433 participants • 73 officials participated against the original target of 25 in the last event, hence two parallel programmes conducted • Capacity building proposals from CCDUs of Maharashtra and J&K • Interaction ongoing through YAHOO GROUP by trained personals

Proposals from other states • Maharashtra Govt. has requested to train 135 project functionaries. • J&K Govt. asked for support in IEC & HRD activities, and to provide assistance for establishment of CCDU and its strengthening.
REMAINING FUND Is being utilized for : • Preparation of Project Completion report for Phase-I • Preparation of training manuals • Preparation of success stories for IEC • Strengthening of CCDUs
