Preparation for the June data takingwith 7 modules : hardware • Detectors ordered and ready for production. 2 out of 9 by end of week 4, to betestedbefore end of week 6, the rest by end of February • FEC ready to orderat a new company, thanks to Rui de Oliveira (the previouscompany, who made the prototypes, multipliedcost by 4.7) • All the remaining hardware ready or almost. • PC in DESY nextweek for cosmic trigger maintenance/upgrade and bring back material for testing new modules

  3. Preparation for the June data takingwith 7 modules : software • Reminder: in Decemberwehad a software weekwith Carleton people (Madhu Dixit, NicholiShiel, Peter Hayman), indiansfromKolkata, and Gilles de Lentdecker from Bruxelles, to check/improve the Micromegasstandalone program and startimplementation in Marlin TPC • This weekagainwith Keisuke Fujii, Peter Hayman and Gilles de Lentdecker, wemanaged to run the standard reconstruction on Micromegas data (Kalmannfilterincluded). Nownextstepis to adapt to resistive foil.

  4. Mechanics • Activitywithin AIDA: • Study of new materials (Al/kevlar hybrid for instance): measurement of mechanicalproperties on samples • Calculationswiththese, and optimization of the structure (number of rows, beamlet size, etc…) for minimal deformationunderweight and pressure. • Starting of the workat DESY nextweek (P. Manil with Volker and Robert)
