  2. Project Background • Project encompasses the plan and design of a consolidated rental car facility and other landside facilities. • Scope driven by 2011 Airport Master Plan and 2008 Ricondo study. • Construction Manager at Risk method will be used for construction phase.

  3. Project Objectives • Improve to customer service • Improve air quality, reduce vehicle emissions • Enhance operational efficiency • Ease terminal curbside congestion • Friendly interface between ground and air transport services • Plan for future needs

  4. CONRAC Plan Intent • RAC Customer Service Center • Ready/Return Capabilities of approx. 2,600 spaces • Quick Turn Around Facility including vehicle fueling systems • Vehicle Wash Systems • Vehicle Service Support • Public Parking • Security Systems • Commercial Opportunities • Passenger/Employee Services

  5. Minimum Qualifications • Staff must include licensed Architect or Engineer • Prior transit center experience • $50M in total construction cost • Completed within the past 10 years • Airport characteristics similar to SAIA • Coordination of multiple stakeholders

  6. Scope of Work • Phase One: Programming, rough magnitude cost estimate, issue identification • Phase Two: Development of 100% construction documents • Phase Three: Construction administration, resident inspection

  7. Solicitation Schedule • Deadline for submission of written questions: October 11, 2012, 4:00 P.M. • Responses Due: October 24, 2012, 2:00 P.M. • Interviews: Week of November 26th

  11. Submission Instructions • 1 Original Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) • 1 PDF Copy on a CD • 10 Copies of SOQ All documents must be complete and submitted at the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on October 24, 2012.

  12. Award of Contract and Reservation of Rights • Respondents are able to request a Solicitation Process Review via written request. • Submittal Debriefings are available once annually to all respondents via written request.
