The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) is a national, not-for-profit membership organisation, established in 1972. • UDIA (Qld) is the State’s largest professional organisation that represents and furthers the interests and integrity of the property development industry in Queensland. • UDIA (Qld) has 12 regional branches in addition to the State office in Brisbane: What is UDIA? • Gold Coast • Sunshine Coast • Ipswich • Toowoomba • Moreton Bay • Cairns • Gladstone • Fraser Coast • Bundaberg • Townsville • Mackay/Whitsunday • Rockhampton

Who’s involved? • Over 1,000 corporate members and 3,000 affiliated individual members in Queensland. • Our members include developers, financiers, lawyers, accountants, architects, planners, engineers, project marketers, professional consultants, government representatives and full-time students. • Our members development activities include: • Master-planned communities • Urban renewal • Multi-level development • Land subdivision • Medium density development • Attached and detached housing • Sustainable development • Seniors’ living • Commercial development • Retail Development • Industrial development • Hotels and resorts • Golf course development
