The Things I Do At School. By: Mitchell (2 nd grade student with ASD). Sometimes I like to crawl on the floor like I am an earthworm. But, I am not supposed to crawl on the floor. Instead, I should walk on my feet like the other children, I can take a break if I need to.

The Things I Do At School By: Mitchell (2nd grade student with ASD)
Sometimes I like to crawl on the floor like I am an earthworm. But, I am not supposed to crawl on the floor. Instead, I should walk on my feet like the other children, I can take a break if I need to. I can go for a walk, play a game, or go in the tent to read.
Sometimes I to shout out things in class. But, I am not supposed to shout things out in class. Instead, I should wait until the teacher is finished talking and raise my hand.
I can take a break if I need to. I can go for a walk. I can play a game or go in the tent to read.
Sometimes I touch the other children in my class or on the playground. But, I am not supposed to touch the other children.
Instead, I should keep my hands to myself. I can take a break if I need to. I can go for a walk, play a game, or go in the tent to read.
Sometimes I need to ask my teacher for help with my work. I can walk quietly up to his desk and ask him a question or I can raise my hand and ask a question.
Sometimes I do not like to wait my turn and I interrupt others when they are talking. But, I’m not supposed to interrupt others. Instead, I can wait until they are finished talking and take my turn.
Sometimes, I have a hard time taking my coat, boots, hat, and mittens off and getting back to my classroom when I’m supposed to. But, I’m supposed to take my things off and get back in my class quickly. Instead, I can look at the list in my locker and take off my things quickly so I can get back to my class in time.
There are many things that I do at school. It makes my teacher and the other kids in my class happy when I follow the rules. The End
