Research • “More women in government could also boost economic growth: studies show that women are more likely to spend money on improving health, education, infrastructure and poverty and less likely to waste it on tanks and bombs. • This article talks about how women are more of an asset rather than a burden • Girls usually get better grades in school so therefore women will be better equip for jobs in the future • “The Importance of Sex” The Economist, April 6th 2006

Dual Personalities • Women who work in higher positions have to have split personalities one for work and one for home • In this article it says that at work women put on a flirtatious and bubbly appearance which is more accepted by men • At home the women become more reserved • Personally I don’t think this is true because women have to be tough around men in the workplace to be respected “askmen.com”
What Women need to learn • Women need to start positioning themselves in their career field very early to be on track to the top • They need to be in accelerated development programs • They need to establish a personal brand • Start networking better • Set aside doubts “On the job: women in the workplace” By ANITA BRUZZESE, Gannett, USA Today, June 6, 2009.
What women think • These are a few statement women think about other women working: • It’s much better for everyone concerned if the man is the achiever outside the home and the woman takes care of the home and family • Women are much happier if they stay at home and take care of their children • The employment of wives leads to more juvenile delinquency
