Synopsis • “A classic novel of despair, forbidden emotion, and sexual undercurrents set against the austere New England countryside” • Ethan Frome works his unproductive farm and struggles to maintain a bearable existence with his difficult, suspicious, hypochondriac wife, Zeena.
