National RIS related reference data Pilot implementation in IRIS Europe II (2010 - 2011) • Changes in reference data do affect all RIS technologies, such as Notices to Skippers, Electronic Navigational Charts, Tracking & Tracing or Electronic Report. National focus • Define management and maintenance procedures for RIS related reference data in Slovakia • Implement mechanisms for collection, processing and management of reference data • (such as identified in Annex I. of the EU RIS Directive and other RIS relevant data, even those applicable only at national levels) Expected pilot operation and interconnec-tion with EU serviceby June 2011 New management of national RIS related reference data andinterconnection to Europeanreference data management service

Advanced services for RIS users Pilot implementation in IRIS Europe II (2010 - 2011) Single Sign On (OpenID) • Information in multiple applications in distributed systems • Access control differs (different services available at different authorities in different countries) • User uses different credentials to exchange safely electronic info (multitude of user name / password combination) National focus • Single Sign On (SSO) allows a user to authenticate with the same credential to login to multiple applications in distributed systems Expected integration in refData service , NtS, Hull, ERI by June 2011

International RIS data exchange pilot Pilot implementation in IRIS Europe II (2010 - 2011) Focus • Tactical and Static Traffic Information of Vessels as defined in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 415/2007 • Cargo and Voyage Data as defined in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 164/2010 • Hull Data as defined in Commission Directive 2008/87/EC and in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 164/2010 • Access rights based on roles • Processes based on R2D2 specification (result of IRIS Europe I & II) • Participating countries: • Time frame: spring / summer 2011

European hull database (EHDB) (developed in PLATINA project) Directive 2006/87/EC Assignment of a unique European Vessel Identi-fication Number (ENI) to the vessels falling under Information exchange of each assigned ENI & other data for identification of a vessel (among competent authorities) ..on the basis of administrative agreements Commission Regulation No 2010/164 (ERI) Assignment of ENI to a vessel participating in RIS (unless the craft has ENI based on 2006/87/EC) Information exchange of each assigned ENI as well as of data for the identification of the vessel set (among authorities) National focus: Amendments of the national infrastructure as preparation for the interconnection to the EHDB Implementation of the interface (based on the web service) to interconnect with EHDB Service agreement on European hull data exchange Expected in coming weeks European reference data (ERDMS) (developed in PLATINA project) RIS references and code tables are key elements in the RIS-standards and are an important link between the various RIS-services to ensure interoperability throughout the whole transport and logistics chain to define clear and unambiguous reference data and maintenance procedures are an essential requirement to implement the interconnection National focus: Amendments of the national infrastructure as preparation for the interconnection to the EHDB Implementation of the interface (based on the web service) to interconnect with EHDB Service agreement on European hull data exchange Expected by June 2011 (depends on progress in PLATINA) EU Services Pilot implementation in IRIS Europe II (2010 - 2011)
