  1. W.O.W Women of Winter When: April 9 – 11 2010Where: Chamonix Valley, FranceWhy: A non-competitive snow event in aid of Pink Ribbon and Alpine Initiatives. W.O.W is the dreamchild of longtime snomad, Jo Guest. Inspired by the drive and camaraderie she has encountered when riding big mountains with ruling ladies all over the world, she organised the first W.O.W event at Mt Olympus, New Zealand, last year. For W.O.W weekend, the Chamonix valley will be playground of the goddesses. Based at Grand Montets, Argentiere and Le Ferme de Varaita it’s all about shredding, sliding, banter, partying and pampering with the girls. All proceeds will be divided equally between the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and an inspirational organisation called Alpine Initiatives. Jump on board!
