  2. Why Is This A Benefit To Me? • On-site services provide immediate access and response • University employed counselors are knowledgeable about campus culture • Broad range of services • Free and customized services

  3. FSAP Mission • Provide highest quality of services • Promote early intervention before problems become chronic • Offer departmental consultation when behavioral issues affect the workplace

  4. FSAP Services Provide: • Free counseling and consultation • Referrals to campus and community resources • Help in accessing your HMO/PPO • Emergency and critical incident response • Educational workshops

  5. Why People Use FSAP Counseling Services • Relationship concerns • Emotional/psychological issues • Work related conflicts • Life stressors • Alcohol and other addictions • Problems that do not affect work performance

  6. People Also Use FSAP For: • Change/transition in the workplace • Concern about a colleague • Managers/supervisors concerned about employee performance • Eldercare issues

  7. Additionally… • Most FSAP clients exhibit little or no pathology • When clients are referred, FSAP continues to coordinate/monitor the client’s care • FSAP provides crisis intervention and brief counseling
