  2. What is Online learning? Online learning utilises internet technology to put the training session right on your computer Our online learning takes two main forms: • Webcasts • Online training sessions

Webcasts • Most Webcasts are free • Seminar type presentations and demonstrations • Your phone is usually muted so you can hear everything that is said • There are usually question and answer sessions at the end • Examples of sessions available • EMIS Web • QUTE • More sessions will be added soon

Online training sessions • Professional training on an aspect of EMIS system over the internet, lasting approx 45 minutes • Carried out at your desk using your PC and telephone • Session involving interaction between you and the trainer – including sharing applications • Paid for by the PCT • Examples of sessions available: • EMIS for Locums (4 sessions) • EMIS Protocols • EMIS for Receptionists (2 sessions)

  5. How does it work? • When you have found a session you would like to join • Email • Title, date and time of session • Your practice name and EMIS number • Mention that you are using the bulk purchase from Newham PCT • The name and email address of all attendees To elc@e-mis.com
