  3. STEM Education • Provide Resources and Professional Development to Teachers • Expand, leverage, and communicate student STEM enrichment activities One teacher touches 30 elementary students or as many as 150 secondary students each year INL has unique resources in its people!

Programs for Teachers • INL Teacher internships • Mini-grants and technology awards • Education Transfer Program • Support for workshops and academies for teacher professional development • Help with development of curricula • Developing Teacher Resource Center focused on energy and Idaho rural schools

Mini Grants and Technology Awards • Awarded State wide • Open to public, private, elementary, middle school and High School STEM programs • Mini grants up to $2000 • 2 school grants up to $10,000 will be awarded for Science Lab Grant • Applications on line www.inl.gov >education programs>k-12 programs>mini grants program
