Time Management Controlling the 24 hours you have in one day. Utilizing (using) time affects what you will accomplish, the relationships you develop, your health and wellness, and how you feel about yourself
Time management tools • Calendar-monthly overview of events to attend day-to-day • Schedule-hour-to-hour list of events you will attend/accomplish • To do list-helps you prioritize and keeps track of your responsibilities and goals
Troublemakers for time man. • Procrastination-putting off priority task until the last minute. • Over committment-taking on to many task at once.
Strategies(ways) to handle Time Management • Prioritize-placing important events at the top of your to-do list • Dovetail-to overlap activities in order to save time. • Ex. Taking notes, and completing worksheet at the same time • Flexibility-being able to adapt to new or changing requirements

“Paper Bag Personality” Create a “paper bag personality”. Divide the outside of the lunch bag with areas to represent the adolescent development areas. (physical,intell.,social) Find pictures which represent your beliefs and ideas and glue to the appropriate area. Identify one trait that you would like to improve about yourself. Place it on the inside the bag. DO NOT USE ONE SIDE OF YOUR BAG. Present your “personality bag” to the class.
