  2. Part 11: EXPRESS TC2 • TC2 New version has been prepared by P. Spiby for WG11 review. TC2 is available for publication by 2001/01. • SC4 secretariat action: send WG11N149 to ISO for publication.

  3. Part 11: EXPRESSAmendment / Edition 2 • Amendment ready for DIS ballot. • Editorial work has been performed by PDTech. • Internal review performed, PL and convenor OK on WG11N152 • Forwarded to ISO, Out for DIS ballot • 17 May 2001 — 17 October 2001 • Currently balloted as amendment, will be combined with 1994 base and TCs produce Edition 2 after DIS ballot. • Looking for editor to prepare Edition 2 document.

  4. Part 11: EXPRESS Edition 3 • CD edition 3 (wg11n105): PDTS expected Feb, 2001. No meeting this week. • Look for candidate to complete quality review.

  5. Part 14 : EXPRESS-X • Progress: • Document: wg11n117 CD ballot closed. • Issue log wg11n123. • 300 ballot comments produced (doc SC4 N1118c). About 120 resolved. • Currently working to complete and document the ballot comment resolutions and generate new document • Will review in Fukuoka, distribute for ballot afterwards.

  6. Part 21 Edition 2 • Consensus obtained in Funchal • added construct file_population to specify the method used for determination of valid data population • Prepared new version WG11N154. • Delivered to secretariat for FDIS ballot • Forwarded to ISO April 12th

  7. Part 24: SDAI C Binding • Progress and actions items : • 100% vote Yes, no FDIS needed. • 4 ballot comments produced (doc SC4 N1129c). All resolved in Funchal. • Project leader/editor action: • generate a new document for IS publication. • by first week of July for inclusion in Release 2 of STEP.

  8. Part 25: EXPRESS to XMI binding • Progress and actions items : • 2 last issues to resolve • oneof in UML • aggregate into UML • Ballot of the PDTS after Funchal • Issues • Should be based on UML 1.4, not UML 1.3

Part 28: XML Representation of EXPRESS Schemas & Data • PDTS: wg11n142 ballot closed on 26 Jan 2001 • After Funchal, the US and Japan have modified their votes to YES. • Must prepare new version and publish as TS. • Need resources to complete this work. • Continue work with Edition 2 based on XML schema

  10. Part 35: Abstract Test Methods for SDAI • Progress and actions items : • Test cases based on an EXPRESS schema • Working draft reviewed • New editor of the document • Since Funchal: • New version (WG11 N153) of the document. • Out for CD ballot: • 15 June 2001 — 15 October 2001
