  2. Ballots • API 6HT, 2nd Edition – Ballot closed and document has been released • Re-ballot API 14H, 6th Ed Ballot is currently open and closes on July 4th

  3. Ballots (cont’d) • API 6X 1st Edition ballot closed 04/30/13 – • the document will possible require re-ballot depending on the changes required to resolve ballot comments

  4. Ongoing workgroups and task groups

  5. TG 1 – Pipeline and valve standards • Currently working on the 24th Edition of API 6D • Will be adding PSL levels to 6D • Evaluating addition of a class 4500 to address higher pressures • Working on revision to 6FD • Work on revision to 6DSS in January 2014

  6. TG2- Wellhead Standards and Corrections 6A 21st revision • Cutoff for new items to be included in 21st Edition is August 15th 14H Update • Comment resolution for initial ballot resulted in substantive changes and a new ballot has been issued which will close on the 7th of July 2014 6AVR Plugs • Currently doing Annex F PR2 testing (0°F-250°F)prototype testing on a 4” HPVR plug. This plug will be included in the 21st Ed of API 6A

  7. Revision to API 6A718 • Working in conjunction with the 5CRS workgroup • Currently waiting for 5CRA ballot to close before finalizing the new draft of 6A718. • Adding additional alloys to the 6A718 document. • A 140K strength class is being added
