Livingstone) Trama New Orleans, 1852. Julie Morrison è una ragazza della buona società, egocentrica e capricciosa. Rompe il fidanzamento con il banchiere Preston Dillard solo perché costui non si è piegato ai suoi voleri e per farlo ingelosire si fa vedere in giro con un altro spasimante, Buck Cantrell. Preston si trasferisce a Filadelfia e Julie si ritira in campagna, sicura del suo ritorno, che avviene tre anni dopo: ma Preston è sposato. La gelosia di Julie esplode, facendole commettere una serie di atti spregevoli: ma alla fine si pente ed espia le sue colpe.
