Active Directory Users can move between PC’s without losing access to their files. Sensitive files and folders can be hidden from those who do not need access. Computers can be secured against intentional and accidental alteration. Active Directory is a framework for a future deployment of Exchange and Outlook when practical. Active Directory allows coordination of additional services such as Symantec Antivirus.
Changes to Expect Users will now always have to use a password to access a machine. Special accounts can be set up for lab use. In order to ensure consistency and reliability, user data will be transferred to the server and all computers will be reprogrammed. Team members will assist users with the transition. After the upgrade, individual users will not be able to install software. Supervisors will have the ability to do this at their discretion.
