How can I prepare? • High School Classes • Math: algebra & geometry • Communications Skills: written & oral communication classes • Shop/Tech Ed: woods, metals, construction classes • Just taking the course isn’t good enough, a C or better is needed.
Apprenticeship Requirements • Entrance Test (Accuplacer or TABE)* • ‘C’ of better in algebra** • High School Transcripts or GED • Driver’s License (or means to get to work) *Test is not required for Concrete Finishing, Heavy Equipment, & Roofing. **Algebra is only required for Electronic Systems Technician and Electrical
