Statistics for Young Drivers • Teen driver crashes are the leading cause of death for out nation’s youth. • In 2006, 5,156 13 to 19-year-old drivers were involved in fatal crashes. • Crash risk is particularly high during the first years that teenagers are eligible to drive. • 16-year-olds have higher crash rates.

  3. Speeding tickets costs • “Ticket does not say "work zone" anywhere on it, but it does say 83mph in a 50 and location is 695 (our beltway) where speed is always 55mph. So ticket does indicate work zone. I know 33mph over would normally come with 5 points, but I was told both by a lawyer and this website http://www.choosesafetyforlife.com/slowd...that speeding in a workzone is $290 fine and 1 point. I need the right answer because to me it does not sound right. Please help.”
