  2. What is a Year? (12 Months) • Fund year starts March 1 and ends February 28 This is the Fiscal year! • Operational year starts August 1, and ends July 31, This is the Operational Year! Head Start has Fall & Spring terms Early Head Start has Fall, Spring & Summer terms

  3. Program Regulations • The Office of Head Start has set timelines for completion of some program services. 30 days 45 days 90 days • Child Care Licensing has set timelines Within 7 days of enrollment.

Policy Council Dates PC Meetings • October 10th • November 14th • December 12th • January 9th • February 6th • March 6th • April 10th • May 8th • June 12th The Executive Committee consists of officers and key management staff. The Executive Committee meets 10 to 12 days before the Policy Council. Dates of PC Executive Committee meetings are set following election of officers at the October PC meeting
