Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales “Import DfE QAN Catalogue from QWS” has been renamed to “Import Qualification Data” and now includes import of a Performance Measures XML file. The Performance Measures XML file is provided from SupportNet and is derived from The Register of Regulated Qualifications (RRQ). 2
Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales Selection of students takes place as previously, but clicking Add Result will provide an entry screen where much of the content is automatically filled from the information contained in the Performance Measures XML file. 3
Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales Once the user enters the QAN, Refresh will fill in much of the remaining detail. 4
Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales In this case the Subject Code has been auto-filled, as there is only one Discount Code (Subject Code) for the QAN. Where there is more than one Discount Code for the QAN, the user will need to choose the Subject Code that applies. Once the QAN and Subject Code are identified several more fields are auto-filled. Course will only be auto-filled if a course already exists with the QAN and Discount Code. 5
Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales Once the user enters the grade the remaining information is auto-filled. Grade entry will be restricted to the grade set identified in the Performance Measures XML file. 6
Non EDI Result Entry for England and Wales Results manually entered via Non EDI Result Entry will become available for the display of best result in Course Manager (and is used calculating AO QAN/Discount Code for School Census Autumn 2013 in England). Users who have non-EDI results ready to enter should postpone data entry until after upgrade to the Summer Release 2013. Regrettably, results entered via the Spring Release 2013 will have to be discarded, but we believe that the greater convenience of the new system will not make this too great a cost. 7
