Muench CALENDAR BOARD MEETINGS Every 2nd Monday President Lal Ramdeen introduced our speaker, Bonnie Barnes. Bonnie Barnes, the Executive Director of North Florida Land Trust, shared with our members some of their programs and conservation efforts within North Florida. November 22 - Happy Thanksgiving! No meeting 13001 Atlantic Blvd, Paula Powell’s Office 12 noon November 12 December 10 January 14 February 11 About the North Florida Land Trust (NFLT) Founded in 1999, NFLT spans seven counties in our area, protecting over 1,600 acres locally, including land at Big Talbot Island, the River Branch Preserve, Pumpkin Hill State Park, Moccasin Slough, and along the St. Mary’s River. Led by 2012 Board of Directors President Brian Hershorin, Purcell, Flanagan, Hay & Greene, PA, the community-based organization operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and serves seven counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns. The organization relies on fundraisers and the contributions of supporters to acquire preservation lands. NFLT is a member of the national Land Trust Alliance. Fletcher Key Club’s float in the recent Fletcher High School’s Homecoming parade on Monday November 6th. Bill MacLeod said the Key Club’s float was the biggest and best one by far!
