FPD “talking points” • Are fpd boards in the run? • Yes (as long as fpd VRB not entirely yellow) • Change configuration of fpd system (disable/enable fpd boards in cft_gui) • No. Have you just changed hardware configuration on the platform ? Anyway this would have to be followed by calibration which is not my job • Download crate 0x52: • Is FPD examine showing new problems, gray color is okay too • Calibrate crate 52: • Crate 0x52 is always calibrated, anyway this is not my job CTF Meeting 20-May-03 jadzia warchol

Intermittent Alarms on 7A5 module 7 • AFE board 7A5 is connected to west-most cassette in EAST cryostat, only modules 5-8 are connected to detector • This cassette is known to be the warmest and temperature fluctuations generate intermittent alarms: • CFTA_AFE_7A5/TCOV7 • Persistent alarms generated by this board require adjustment of cryostat temperature CTF Meeting 20-May-03 jadzia warchol

  12. Disabled Alarms“Talking points” with Captains • We have 29 Disabled Alarms, in total cft has few thousands of possible alarms • It will take time to get rid of them, they require work on the platform • Most of them are believed to be failures in read-back circuit CTF Meeting 20-May-03 jadzia warchol
